Leyton Orient winger Dean Cox has once again been linked with a possible reunion with former O's boss Russell Slade at Cardiff City but the Guardian Series understands there is no interest.
The 27-year-old has played under Slade, who joined the Championship side from Orient in October, at Brisbane Road as well as former club Brighton & Hove Albion.
And it is not the first time Cox has been linked with a switch to South Wales, however, the Guardian Series understands the wideman is not being targetted by Slade, contrary to reports.
Cox scored seven times in 44 appearances for the O's last season but was unable to prevent relegation to League Two as the club slipped into the Football League's basement division.
He has two years remaining on his contract with Orient.
