Cranes United emerged 4-3 winners in a dramatic Premier Division Cup final against Rainham Working Men’s Club.
Having agonizingly missed out on glory in the Fenton Cup, Cranes required extra time to emerge victorious at Dagenham & Redbridge’s Victoria Road.
With the game poised delicately in Rainham’s favour, Cranes snatched a 90th minute equaliser to force extra time.
The drama was far from over, though, and with the game tied at 3-3 approaching the end of extra time, Cranes dug deep to come up with a late winner, avoiding penalties.
In the Premier Division, Jolof Sports Club were awarded a home win over Chingford Town, who were unable to fulfil the fixture.
