Heathcote ‘B’ table tennis team rounded off a successful season by clinching the Waltham Forest Division One league title, adding to their recent cup success.
A total of 527 points from 22 matches, at an average of 24 points per game, was enough to secure the title, pipping rivals Leyton Bus Garage by 67 points after losing just two matches all season.
Heathcote had previously won the Waltham Forest Cup.
Captain Ken Radford thanked his squad of Shahid Mahmood, Daniel Howard, Sai Gobalakrishnan, Piers Ripley and Ajit Rehal for their efforts.
