West Ham United are reportedly close to agreeing a deal with Marseille forward Andre Ayew.
According to The Telegraph, the Hammers are closing in on the Ghanaian after his contract expired at French club Marseille.
The east London outfit look set to pip Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United to a deal for the 25-year-old.
Ayew scored 11 goals in all competitions for the French outfit, who finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season.
The Hammers board are still yet to appoint a manager following Sam Allardyce’s exit and Ayew’s coach at Marseille, Marco Bielsa, continues to be linked with the top job at Upton Park.
However, ex-West Ham defender Slaven Bilic is still favourite to succeed Allardyce.
