Woodford Wells men's tennis team won the Essex Senior Cup for the first time in seven years on Sunday to become county champions.
Playing at the Connaught Club in Chingford, Wells won each of their four matches to seal an emphatic victory and their first Senior Cup since 2008.
The first round was particularly close with both Wells pairs coming from behind to snatch a victory.
Sam Pedder and Joe Hall were 3-0 down in the first set but managed to win it on a tie break. Meanwhile, Richard Wire and Pav Chickanov lost their first set only to win on a championship tie-break in the final set.
In the second round the Wells players tightened their grip on the match winning both rubbers in straight sets.
This is the fourth time this century Wells have won the event having never managed to achieve this in their previous 150-year history.
