Head coach Ian Hendon insists he will make a decision over the new Leyton Orient captain in the next couple of days.
The O's are looking for a new skipper after Nathan Clarke's move to Bradford City this summer. Sean Clohessy has led the side in recent wins over Colchester United and Southend while last season's vice-captain Mathieu Baudry is also in the frame and there has been talk of Alan Dunne as another potential candidate.
Speaking after Sunday's win over the Shrimpers, Hendon said: "Sean was captain at Colchester which was his previous club and he's been here before as well so it's still to be decided. It will be confirmed early in the week."
Orient start the League Two season this Saturday at home to Barnet with the new captain leading the side out at Brisbane Road.
