West Ham United have completed a deadline day deal for Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic.

The Croatian forward has made the switch for a fee believed to be around the £3million mark and has become the club’s second addition of the day.

The season-long loan transfer of Victor Moses was confirmed earlier this morning and Jelavic has completed his move to bolster the Hammers’ options in attack.

Slaven Bilic has reportedly been chasing the striker, who has scored once for the Tigers this season, for a number of weeks.

Though Jelavic has become the Hammers’ tenth signing of the summer transfer window, the 30-year-old is the only striker the Upton Park club have moved for.

Jelavic spent the last season-and-a-half at Hull City, scoring 13 goals in 50 appearances. He previously had successful spells at Everton, where he bagged 16 Premier League goals in 59 matches, and Glasgow Rangers.
