West Ham United outcast Matt Jarvis has joined Premier League new-boys Norwich City on a season-long loan.

The 29-year-old winger has moved to the East Anglian side after the 6pm transfer deadline had passed as a deal sheet had been submitted to the Premier League to apply for an extension in order to get the move finalised.

Jarvis, who won his one and only England cap against Ghana in 2011, made just 11 Premier League appearances for the Hammers last season after falling out of favour under Sam Allardyce.

He had been restricted to just three substitute appearances in the league this term, though did feature in Europa League qualifying, making four starts.

Signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £7.5 million in 2012 and has made 90 appearances and scored six times.
