Mark Cavendish has announced that he will be riding in the Tour of Britain which begins on Sunday in Wales.
The Etixx-QuickStep rider, who has a property in Ongar, has joined sprinting rival Andre Greipel on the growing list of world-class riders to be taking part in this year’s Tour.
Cavendish raced in the Tour last year but failed to pick up a stage win, something he will be keen to put right this time around.
