West Ham United are reportedly considering a move for Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato as Slaven Bilic looks to boost his striking options and maintain the form which has seen them go third in the Premier League table.

According to the Daily Mail, Corinthians President Roberto de Andrade will listen to offers for the striker, who is currently on loan at Sao Paolo, after falling out of favour with the manager Tite and the influential Corinthians supporters group Fiel.

During the summer it was reported Pato was ‘keen to play in one of the big cities” and West Ham certainly fit the bill, especially with their upcoming move to the Olympic Stadium.

The 26-year-old looked set for a glittering career at the top as a teenager with AC Milan but injuries have slowed his progress and he returned to his homeland in 2013 to sign with Corinthians.

The former Brazil player has not played for his country for two years and hopes a move will reignite his international chances.

He was previously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur which never materialised but if the price is right he could well be on his way to East London.
