Orient head coach Ian Hendon is hopeful of adding to his squad before Saturday’s home game against Exeter City and has refused to rule out the possibility of fans’ favourite Kevin Lisbie returning to Brisbane Road.

Hendon spoke about signing four or five players following the draw at Stevenage in their last match and has submitted his list of targets to the board.

The League Two club are currently looking at striker Antonio German. The 24-year-old is training with the O’s and is available on a free transfer after recently playing in India for Kerela Blasters.

Hendon said: “We have identified the players we want to bring in and have been looking from December onwards.

"This has been passed on to the board and have told them what we are after and now we are just awaiting the go-ahead. I’m really hopeful that some of these may be available before the weekend.”

Lisbie left Barnet this week by mutual consent after making just four substitute appearances.

The 37-year-old scored 46 goals in 111 league appearances over four years for Orient.

Hendon said: “I am fully aware of Kevin’s situation. His representatives have spoken to us and it’s something we’re aware of so discussions are ongoing.

“Kevin’s record speaks for itself but he hasn’t played much football lately. It might be one where he could come in and we have a look at him.

“We have our targets already and if we manage to bring them in then it might be one we can’t do but we don’t dismiss anything.”
