Redbridge picked up their first Isthmian Division One North win since the start of December on Saturday with two late goals sealing a dramatic 4-3 win at Wroxham.

Victory leaves Dave Ross and Ricky Eaton's side in 22nd, two points behind Wroxham in the safety of 21st. They have an inferior goal difference, however.

The Motormen took lead when Reside Coxi Sebastfao chipped the Wroxham keeper with a shot from outside the box.

Wroxham equalised in the 24th minute, Joshua Gray floating a ball in to Nathan Stone who poked the ball past Callum Chafer.

Redbridge re-took the lead just before the hour mark when Paulius Ditkevicius sent in a free-kick for Charlie Portway to head towards goal where keeper Elliot Pride fumbled over the line.

Portway nearly scored again a minute later when another header went towards goal but this time Pride pulled off a great save to make some amends for his earlier mistake.

Redbridge certainly had the bit between their teeth and went close again when Gent played in Portway but his shot was blocked by David Hinton.

Wroxham equalised in the 64th minute. Jackson Ramm picked out Jamie Forshaw with a deft cross and Forshaw headed into the net.

A minute later Ramm was again the creator as he sent in another dangerous cross from the right which Jack Garrod slammed past Chafer to give Wroxham a 3-1 lead lead.

However, Redbridge didn’t lie down and almost equalised in their next attack when some sloppy work in the Wroxham defence saw Billy Drake seize he ball first but he couldn’t keep his shot down.

Gent also tried a shot from outside the box that was only inches too high.

Garrod and Ramm both had shots whistle past the Redbridge goal and Stephen Good had to block a Stone effort in the 83rd minute.

A minute later and Good almost equalised with a header that Wroxham keeper Pride had to tip to safety. With a minute remaining the Motormen dug out a dramatic equaliser.

Rigers Kabashi crossed into the box for Portway whose shot was blocked by Pride. But the arriving Sebastfao knocked in the rebound.

The game then was turned on its head a minute later when Portway latched onto a through ball and lobbed the onrushing Wroxham keeper to secure all three points in the most dramatic fashion.

Redbridge go to Bury Town tomorrow.
