Wapping remain top of the East League Premier Division A following a 2-1 win over Dereham.

Wapping squandered a number of good chances after the break. But they were eventually rewarded with an equaliser when Phil Messent cleaned up a short corner after an initial save from the Dereham keeper.

The Wapping attack was relentless and with five minutes remaining Messent created space from himself with a brilliant piece of skill before slamming his shot into the roof of the net past the helpless Dereham defence.
