London Raiders made it 11 National Ice Hockey League South 1 fixtures without victory with back-to-back defeats over the weekend.

The Raiders ended up beaten 7-2 by Invicta Dynamos in a South East Cup clash at Lee Valley ice rink on Saturday night.

Neither the Raiders nor the Dynamos had much but pride to play for but the visitors took the bragging rights again as they claimed a sixth win in seven meetings against the Raiders this season.

Their poor run wasn't to improve on Sunday night when the Raiders visited league leaders Chelmsford Chieftains.

The hosts were too strong for the Raiders but it was the east Londoners who opened the scoring with barely three minutes on the clock as Mason Webster – their man of the match against Invicta the night before – set up Bailey Chittock to score against his former club.

And the visitors held on to that advantage until early in the second period before former Raider Billy Phillips struck for Chieftains.

This score led to a spell of dominance by the Chieftains who grabbed a further five goals in total during which the Raiders managed to add a second.

The Raiders return to Lee Valley to host Solent Devils in an important clash on Saturday, February 13.
