Enner Valencia was a vital player for Ecuador as they advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa America for the first time since 1997.

Ecuador will play Group A winners USA on Thursday, June 16 in Seattle after finishing second in Group B after Peru’s 1-0 win against Brazil.
