James Tomkins has left West Ham United to join Crystal Palace FC for £10m.
Jack Sullivan, son of chairman David Sullivan, was first to break the news as he tweeted the 27-year-old wanted first team football and the club could not guarantee him this for the 2016/17 season.

Having joined the West Ham academy at aged seven, the Basildon born player progressed his way through the ranks and signed his first contract in 2005.
In total, across his 20-year spell at the club, Tomkins made 243 appearances scoring 11 goals.
The West Ham United website thanked him for his hard work and commitment during his time at the club and wish him all the best in his future career.
Sullivan also mentioned he hopes to see more of the likes of Reece Burke and Reece Oxford receiving first-team football.
