Transfer target Luke Gambin has turned down a contract offer from Leyton Orient after expressing his desire to play at a higher level.
The O's had a six-figure bid accepted for the Malta international over the weekend, and were left to discuss terms to bring him to The Matchroom Stadium.
But Barnet today revealed talks have broken down between the two parties - due to the player's desire to play higher than League 2.
He was transfer listed by the Bees this week when he also turned down a contract offer to stay at the club.
