Martin Samuelsen

After scoring his first goal for Norway during the international break, Samuelsen continued his progress by starting for Championship side Blackburn.

The winger netted in his nation’s 4-1 win over San Marino and played 62 minutes as Blackburn played out a goalless draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The appearance was the 19-year-old’s fourth of the season and Owen Coyle believes his involvement from the start on Saturday will have benefitted the youngster.

“I thought there was lots of nice things about his play,” the Rovers manager told Radio Rovers after the match.

“You have to understand that he is a young lad and I've said to him that the nice stuff is fantastic but once you've beaten that player in the box then the cross has got to come in as he has a tendency to over-do it.

"He is young, he will learn, he is going to be an exciting player there is no doubt about that.

"I thought it was important that we gave him his opportunity and I think he did some nice things in the game.”

Josh Cullen

Cullen has been a near ever-present in the Bradford City side since arriving at the League One club on loan, missing just two games due to international commitments.

He played the full 90 minutes against Oxford United, but was powerless to prevent the Bantams going down to a 1-0 defeat which ends their unbeaten league record.

Lewis Page

It was a day to forget for Lewis Page as the defender lasted just 24 minutes for Coventry City against Charlton before picking up an injury and being substituted.

His brief appearance was also disrupted by plastic pigs being thrown onto the pitch by both sets of fans as they protested against their respective owners.

Page’s woe was compounded by the comprehensive 3-0 defeat suffered by his loan club as Ricky Holmes, Ademola Lookman and Josh Magennis all struck.

Doniel Henry

The 23-year-old Canadian made his second appearance for Danish side AC Horsens as he played 32 minutes as a second half substitute.

The Superliga Division side held on for a 1-1 draw which leaves them seventh in the table.

Finally, George Dobson and Josh Pask were both unused subs for Walsall and Gillingham respectively.
