West Ham United confirmed striker Diafra Sakho will be out for six weeks after sustaining a thigh injury during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Sakho scored the opener at Old Trafford with only two minutes gone on the clock.
But the Hammers player had to come off in the 66th minute through injury.
A scan on Tuesday revealed his latest setback will keep him out of contention for up to six weeks.
The club said on their club website: "Everyone at West Ham United wishes him a speedy recovery and quick return to action."
