Yeovil Town's Huish Park has been partially covered ahead of the home side's game with Leyton Orient on Saturday.
The goalmouth in front of the Thatchers' Gold Stand has been covered in groundsheets earlier today.
This could be a preventative measure to stop the pitch becoming freezing over ahead of the weekend's game.
Temperatures across Somerset, and in the UK, are set to drop towards the end of the week with lows below freezing expected overnight tomorrow.
The match day forecast is said to be cold and dry, with a high of three degrees.
At present, there is no suggestion the game is in any danger of being called off.
It kicks off at 3pm.
