Gator Amateur Boxing Club continued their winning streak as three of their boxers won their national ABA semi-finals.

The event took place at the TA centre in Grove Park and the Hainault-based club will be back at the finals on Saturday at the same venue.

Javir Sanger put on a stunning display too see off M. McGovern of the London Military Club, while Jamal Berleen defeated Kemsing’s T. Libretto to win by judge’s decision.

And Jack Caward booked his place in the finals by comprehensively beating T. Heartwell, who was representing Heart of Devon.

The only Gator boxer to miss out on a place in the finals was Rajan Batchy, who narrowly lost on a decision to Exeter Warriors T. Turner.

Last Friday, three boxers travelled to the Strood show in Kent and were all victorious. Chris O’Driscoll, Kaizer Zyed and Charlie Green all impressed in their competitive bouts.
