Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is said to be keen for a move to West Ham, according to his agent from Nigeria.

In an e-mail seen by Hammers news outlet Claret and Hue, the Nigerian striker's agent said in an email: “There has been no agreement between the two clubs at the moment but the deal could still yet happen.

“Kelechi is training with the Nigerian squad at the moment and is aware that West Ham are interested in signing him.”

It was suggested that The Hammers made a bid of around £20m at the end of May, but those reports turned out to be premature.

If the deal with Manchester City does not go through, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has also been linked with Arsenal forward Lucas Perez and ex-Blackburn striker Anthony Modeste from FC Koln.
