Dan Holman scored his first goal for Leyton Orient as Justin Edinburgh’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Tranmere Rovers.
An evenly contested clash saw Rovers go ahead with 43 minutes played when Ritchie Sutton found the net.
Rovers’ lead would not last long and they were pegged back with seven minutes of the second half played when Holman got on the end of Jake Caprice’s drilled cross and forced home.
The O’s were the better side for the remainder and had the better of the chances, but couldn’t force a winner.
Their clearest sight of goal came with 74 minutes on the clock and again fell to Holman as he saw a shot well blocked.
The result against the play-off hopefuls leaves Orient 17th in the table and extends their winless run to four games.
They will look to pick up a win against AFC Fylde next Saturday.
