Leyton Orient have confirmed that goalkeeper Dean Brill and Jobi McAnuff have both signed contract extensions with the club.

Brill has put pen-to-paper on a new two year contract, while McAnuff has extended his deal by a further season.

Goalkeeper Brill arrived at Brisbane Road in the summer from Colchester United, initially as goalkeeper coach, but under Justin Edinburgh the experiened 32-year-old has firmly established himself as the club's number one, keeping five clean sheets in 14 appearances so far.

McAnuff, meanwhile, re-joined the O's in the summer for a second time after leaving League 2 side Stevenage and has made 28 appearances this season, scoring three times.

The former Crystal Palace, Watford and Reading man has missed the O's last two games through injury and the Guardian Series will have an update on the 36-year-old's injury tomorrow.

O's boss Justin Edinburgh said: “We’re delighted to tie down Dean and Jobi to extended contracts. Putting Dean in goal was one of my first decisions at the Club and he has been excellent, making some key saves while providing a strong voice at the back.

"Jobi has been first-class since I arrived as Head Coach and has been captain on a number of occasions. He works incredibly hard on and off-the-field and is a model of professionalism. Both players are going to be key not only in the run-in of this season but across the next 18 months."
