Leyton Orient are set to defy the odds and play the only game in the entire National League at Dover Athletic this afternoon.
Following this week’s bad weather, it had been expected the game at Crabble would go the same way as every other fixture in National League, as well as the North and South divisions, and be called off.
However, improving conditions, coupled with Dover’s decision to cover their pitch, is on track to be rewarded and the match is set to go ahead.

Justin Edinburgh’s men are seeking a third straight league win against an Athletic side who they dramatically beat 4-3 in the FA Trophy at the start of last month.
A victory would lift the O’s up to 13th in the table.
