SPURS are believed to be prepearing a £25 million double offer for out-of-favour Chelsea duo Nicolas Anelka and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
According to the Daily Express, the north London club are set to pay £15million for former Gunners striker Anelka, and £10 mllion for England wideman Wright-Phillips.
Anelka could well be on his way after criticising the mangerless Blues this week following their loss in the Champions League final to Manchester United.
He has also not made the expected impact at Chelsea following his big-money January move from Bolton.
Wright-Phillips has struggled to find a regular game with the west Londoners ever since a £21 million switch from Manchester City in 2005.
And with Avram Grant being given the boot as Chelsea boss this week, Spurs might move quickly for the pair during a period of uncertainty at Stamford Bridge.
Lilywhites boss Juande Ramos has already laid out £16.5 million for Croatian star Luka Modric.
But the Spaniard is keen to bring more top quality players to White Hart Lane in order to launch a genuine challenge for a Champions League spot in the Premier League next season.
