RUMOURS have resurfaced that Arsenal are preparing a £12million bid for Blackburn Rovers ace Roque Santa Cruz.
The Paraguayan has been a revelation in his first season in the premier league, finding the net 23 times for Rovers, and after Arsene Wenger's recent admission that he would like to bring in players with experience in English football, Santa Cruz may fit the bill.
Ewood Park boss Mark Hughes snapped up the 26-year-old forward for a bargain £3.8million from Bayern Munich last summer, but Wenger will have to triple that valuation if he is to secure his services.
