ARSENAL have opened talks with River Plate winger Augusto Fernandez, according to the player's agent.
Pablo Sabbag was quoted as saying: "The only talks that have opened for Fernandez are with Getafe, Arsenal and Benfica."
It is rumoured that the Gunners are tracking the 22-year-old midfielder, who has been capped by Argentina once, but the club are yet to confirm the reports.
