ARSENAL TALK: German target not happy at Bayern

ARSENAL have been placed on red alert after reported target Lukas Podolski admitted he is not prepared to 'just sit on the bench' for Bayern Munich.

The German international, who has racked up three goals in this summer's Euro 2008 tournament, has struggled to fit in at the Allianz Arena, despite enjoying prolific form for his country.

And with the Gunners understood to be interested in the forward, Podolski admitted that he would have to make a decision about his future after the Euros.

"The Euros are the only thing that counts for me at the moment," said Podolski.

"I will start thinking about other things when they are over.

"If I don't see the chance of playing for Bayern under Jurgen Klinsmann then I will have to consider my future.

"I am not a footballer who is prepared to just sit on the bench."
