WEST Ham target Roland Linz could be on the verge of joining Portugese giants Porto.
The 26-year-old Austrian forward is almost certainly leaving his current club, Portugese side Sporting Braga, after banging in 12 goals last season.
He has attracted the attention of a number of clubs from across Europe - including two confirmed English sides - despite a poor showing for his country at Euro 2008.
Although the latest speculation has linked the attacker to Porto, Linz's agency FN Sports has told Sky Sports News that his main desire is a transfer to England's top division.
"Porto would be a great move for Roland, it is a very exciting prospect for him to work with Ferreira again, but the Premiership remains the dream move," said an FN spokesman.
"We are still talking to two clubs in England so we will see what develops."
