NEWCASTLE keeper Shay Given has ruled out a move to Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the 32-year-old and has regularly been linked with taking the stopper to the Emirates.
And the Gunners boss was said to be preparing a £3.5million bid for the experienced Republic of Ireland international.
However, Given insists he has no interest in leaving the Toon.
"I don't know where the story came from," Given told the Newcastle Chronicle.
"I have said all along that I'm extremely happy living and playing here in Newcastle. I want to help to move this club forward.
"Hopefully we will get new players in and strengthen the squad. We want to get this place going."
Given has made over 400 appearances for the Magpies since joining from Blackburn in 1997.
He has also become a popular figure on Tyneside in his 11 years at the club.
