SPURS TALK: Sevilla winger reveals Spurs contact

SEVILLA winger Diego Capel claims that Spurs have sounded out his agent about a possible move to White Hart Lane.

Juande Ramos has been linked with a move for the talented 20-year-old all summer as he continues the overhaul of his squad.

And Capel revealed that the Spaniard has already made contact with his representative in the hope of acquiring his services.

"I know there's something but the club Sevilla trust me and I owe them for this confidence," Capel told Diario de Sevilla.

"Juande Ramos didn't speak to me, he did with my agent I presume, yes. My representatives deal with this."

Spurs are not the only club in the frame for Capel, who impressed with his performances in La Liga last season.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido claims the club have already snubbed a £12 million bid for the starlet from one unnamed club.

However, while maintaining his desire to remain with the Andalucians, Capel is keeping his options open.

He added: "My future has been discussed a lot this summer but at the moment I'm under contract with Sevilla.

"Nevertheless you never know what can happen in the football world.

"For sure everybody wants to grow as a footballer. I'm at a great club, but you always have better objectives."
