MANCHESTER City boss Mark Hughes has once again been linked with West Ham striker Craig Bellamy.

The pair worked together at Blackburn and at international level for Wales, and it appears that Hughes is keen to sign the striker for his new club.

There have already been several reports since Hughes took over at Eastlands that he would make the former Liverpool frontman his top target, and fresh media speculation has surfaced this morning.

This news follows the revelations yesterday that City are set to kick off the new season without injured Benjani Mwaruwari and new £19million man Jo - who is going to be away at the Olympics with Brazil.
