ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger believes the key to unlocking Theo Walcott's vast talent is patience.

The 19-year-old winger joined Arsenal from Southampton in a big money transfer in January 2006 but has shown only glimpses of his potential.

However, Wenger insists that there is plenty more to come from Walcott and remains confident that the youngster will live up to the hype in time.

"I am not worried. You have to give them time," said Wenger.

"Theo is not yet completely there collectively, but he can make decisions in big games. That will always be his strength.

"He is a boy who will always make progress, because he is intelligent and he knows where he wants to get and that is why I believe you have to be patient with him."
