DAGENHAM & Redbridge look likely to be without captain Mark Arber and midfielder Stuart Thurgood for tonight's crucial top-of-the-table clash at Bournemouth.

The Daggers make the trip to Dean Court riding high in third place but, had it not been for several missed opportunities against second-placed Rochdale at Victoria Road on Saturday, they may well have been facing the Cherries sitting pretty at the summit of League Two.

As it is, it is Eddie Howe's men that hold that honour heading into tonight's game.

However, Arber will be missing for John Still's men after picking up a knock in training last Friday. He also missed the 2-1 defeat to Rochdale and could be out for up to a month.

Thurgood, who took the armband at the weekend, limped off with a thigh strain and is also out of the Bournemouth match.

Peter Gain looks set to move infield from the wing, while Jon Nurse is likely to be recalled on the left.

Wesley Thomas is suspended after his red card on Saturday, and his place up front could be taken by Josh Scott.

Midfielder Darren Currie goes straight into the squad to face Bournemouth after he completed his loan move from Chesterfield this week.
