Leyton Orient v Walsall: head to head

LAST MEETING: Walsall 2 Leyton Orient 2 (19-12-09). Ryan Jarvis struck on two minutes and Tamika MKandawire doubled the lead going into half-time. From the second half kick-off, Troy Deeney strolled upfield and scored. He struck again 11 minutes later as Orient threw away a precious win.

HEAD TO HEAD: Leyton Orient 24 wins, Walsall 21 wins and 14 draws.

FORM: Mid-table Walsall are going nowhere this season, as the play-offs are too far off, like relegation is. Manager Chris Hutchings will want to end a run of three games without a win on Saturday, however.

DANGER MEN: Thirty-three-year-old Steve Jones has played two games since he overcame a niggling groin injury. The evergreen midfielder plays on the right and is pacey and direct. Time has not wearied this Walsall winger.

DID YOU KNOW: The player who some reckon is the worst signing made by Orient in recent memory is at Walsall FC. Striker Sam Parkin was once dubbed ‘super Sam’ at Swindon. He scored a goal every other game there, but hardly touched the ball at Brisbane Road last year.

PREDICTION: Orient 2 Walsall 0.

MIDWEEK: There is no midweek game for the O's next week.
