NEW pair Matthew Spring and Alex Revell are helping to set the standard at Orient during the pre-season, according to boss Russell Slade.
The manager is impressed at how the midfielder and striker have settled into life at Brisbane Road.
Slade was speaking after the 2-2 draw with Spurs on Wednesday night, in which Spring played 90 minutes and Revell got 62 minutes.
“I thought Spring was fantastic and Revell was a revelation” Slade said.
“There’s one or two of them who are setting the standard for others to follow and that’s a good thing.
“It lifts the bar for all my players as they’re all trying to achieve a little bit more, and that’s terrific.”
