WEST HAM defender Matt Fry has joined League One side Charlton on loan until January.

Fry, who spent the final three months of last season at the Valley, will join up with ex-Hammers Christian Dailly and Kyel Reid.

The 19-year-old will hope to gain plenty of experience before returning to Upton Park, when he will hope to break into the first team.
