SCOTT PARKER looks set to sign a new five-year contract with West Ham after the club beat off interest from Tottenham during the summer transfer window.
A lucrative new deal has been placed on the table for the midfielder by chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan, although the 29-year-old has delayed putting pen to paper following the interest from Spurs.
However, with the window now closed, it seems Parker will finally commit his long-term future to West Ham.
