WEST HAM have named their 25-man squad for the new season.
The squad, which includes 10 homegrown players – Premier League rules state clubs must name at least eight – was named after the summer transfer window closed yesterday.
The homegrown players named by manager Avram Grant are Robert Green, Jonathan Spector, Matthew Upson, Jack Collison, Kieron Dyer, Mark Noble, Scott Parker, Zavon Hines and Carlton Cole.
New signings Ruud Boffin (goalkeeper), striker Victor Obinna and Lars Jacobsen are also included, along with other summer acquisitions Freddie Piquionne, Pablo Barrera, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Winston Reid and Tal Ben Haim.
Squad: Goalkeepers – Boffin, Green. Defenders – Ben Haim, Da Costa, Gabbidon, Ilunga, Jacobsen, Reid, Spector, Upson. Midfielders – Boa Morte, Behrami, Collison, Dyer, Faubert, Hitzlsperger, Kovac, Noble, Parker. Forwards – Barrera, Cole, Hines, McCarthy, Obinna, Piquionne.
