TWO-GOAL Romain Vincelot wants Daggers’ derby day win to kick-start the club’s maiden campaign in League One.
The Frenchman struck twice at Victoria Road as Leyton Orient were starved of chances and time on the ball during a high-tempo display by Daggers.
“We’ve been waiting for this for three or four games. I really think we deserved it and now have it so that can give us confidence” said Vincelot.
Playmaker Danny Green supplied a pin-point cross into the box for his team-mate’s opening goal after just eight minutes.
“His cross was perfect, and I couldn't expect a better ball to put the ball in the net" said Vincelot.
"There is a lot of quality in the team and that’s why I think this season we will score a lot of goals.”
