MIDFIELDER Sam Saunders is set to be fit to face his old club Dagenham & Redbridge for Brentford on Saturday.

The 27-year-old is attempting to shrug off a hamstring injury suffered earlier this month in the victory over Southampton, and has returned to training ahead of the game at Griffin Park.

Saunders made over 100 appearances for the Daggers during his time at Victoria Road before moving to Brentford last summer. Striker Ben Strevens and defender Danny Foster also made the switch across London.
