THE new year began in perfect style for Abbey FC with a strong 5-2 win, yesterday (Saturday).
Tyler Campbell hit a brace at Capershotts along with Steve Cawley, Emmanuel Osei and Kieran Ogunkoya who all found the net.
Town scored twice but Abbey were not to be denied victory over their close rivals in Ryman one north.
The result nudges boss Steve Wickenden’s side above Town into ninth place in the table, on 29 points.
