ONLY one player hit a below par nett score at Woodford Golf Club’s June Medal.
Past captain Nick Rowe shot a one-under-par nett 69, with a gross score of 81, to win Division One by a single shot, ahead of treasurer Mike Smith.
Another past captain, Mark Deeming, shot the lowest gross score of the day with 77, but could only finish in third place with a nett 71.
In Division Two, Kevin Sullivan hit the lowest gross score in that category with 87. However, it was only on countback that he beat Martin Cox, as both players registered a nett score of 71. Club captain Stephen Bland was third with 73.
