Dagenham and Redbridge skipper Mark Arber has been named as the League Two player of month for August.
The Daggers have only conceded three goals this campaign and the Dagenham captain has been an important part of the defensive unit.
Arber beat off competition from League Two top scorer Izale McLeod of Barnet, Tyrone Barnett from Crawley Town and Doug Loft from Port Vale to win the award.
He is the first Dagenham player have received the award since Solomon Taiwo in 2008.
