Waltham Forest left it late to claim a point over second-bottom Ware.
The lowly visitors played above their league position and Forest had a very poor day and for a long while it did look as if the 18th-minute srike by midfielder Johnson would collect a welcome three points for the visitors.
It was a scrappy goal, in keeping with much of the game, and with Forest badly misfiring on a difficult pitch in awkward conditions it did seem as if this goal would decide the game.
But, with a couple of minutes left, striker Kaynan Kalipha stepped up to prod home his first goal for the club and ensure that Forest did not suffer their second defeat in a week following their 4-3 loss at Enfield Town.
The result extends Forest’s unwanted record of not having won a game in their last 11.
