Old Loughtonians Men won the East Region Indoor Championship after an impressive display in Cambridge.

The first game was against West Herts which Loughts comfortably won 4-0 with goals from open play and short corners. It also saw 17-year-old Perry Foster make his indoor debut in goal.

Loughts hit their stride in the second match against Havering, with the team taking each half 4-1 to complete an 8-2 win. In the third match Loughts came up against St Albans and some good work and tight defending saw the side run out 7-0 winners. The last game of the day was against Chelmsford and, with the score poised at 4-4 in the final minute, Loughts won a short corner which was neatly converted.

With all the outfield players on the scoresheet and only seven goals conceded, the win sets the team up for the start of the National Premier League indoor fixtures in Loughborough this weekend.
