Waltham Forest Ladies conceded two late goals as they collapsed to a 2-1 defeat at home to league leaders Wapping.
The game started with a flurry at both ends, but then the pattern was set, with Wapping controlling the ball and Forest on the back foot.
For all of Wapping's possession they did not look like scoring, with the hosts’ defence staying solid and Sam Fish pulling one off the line.
The game looked to be heading to a goalless first half until Liz Evans took a quick free hit to herself, drove into the area and fired over the keeper.
The pattern of the game didn't change in the second half, with little forward momentum from Forest.
Morag Campbell looked to have earned her side a valuable three points when she pulled off a fantastic save low to her right.
However, just when it looked like Forest would take the points, Wapping snatched an equaliser thanks to a momentary lapse in concentration.
And, with two minutes to go, Wapping hit a short corner which took two deflections and squeezed past Campbell’s right post to take all three points.
Forest are next in action in two weeks time when they take on Letchworth.
