O’s boss Russell Slade has indicated loan duo Lee Cook and Tony Craig could both be set to extend their time in E10.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Cook and Millwall defender Craig joined Orient at the end of November and both have impressed during their time at Brisbane Road.

Saturday’s victory at Notts County was due to be Cook’s final match for Slade’s side but the manager has suggested the 29-year-old could be set to extend his temporary stay with Orient.

Craig meanwhile is due to remain with the O’s until New Year’s Eve but Slade said there had been talks with Millwall over an extension.

“We have spoken to QPR and that looks like a green light,” said the O’s boss.

“We have spoken to Millwall and we are making good progress with that. Fingers crossed, I think I can manage to persuade both to stay a little bit longer with us.”
