Former Leyton Orient striker Efe Echanomi has signed for Waltham Forest.

Echanomi scored eight goals in his three-and-a-half years with the Brisbane Road side but saw much of his time at the club blighted by a freak leg break while warming up as a substitute.

The 25-year-old joins up with Forest after spells with Tiptree United and Grays Athletic.

Echanomi is not the only new arrival for the Stags though as they have also secured the services of Christopher Kinganda from Godalming Town.

Forest manager Olawale Ojelabi has also brought two old faces back to the club in Luke Stanley and Max Holt.

Midfielder Stanley left Forest for Aveley in the summer, while defender Holt returns to the club after spells with Barkingside and Leyton.

One player leaving the club however, is top scorer Jeff Hammond who has returned to rivals Harlow Town for a second spell.
